Building Custom Pickups
For these instruments, we will build our own custom-wound pickups. The picture shows a modified calculator, which will be used during the pickup winding to count the number of windings. The 2 white plastic pieces are a magnetic reed switch, which will spin together with the pickup and register each revolution.
