I have been very interested in Turkish music ever since I became a luthier. Building a Bağlama has always been very close to my heart, and I have been in contact with composer and player Taner Akyol over the last years. In fall 2013 we met at the workshop of my esteemed colleague Kazım Çevik in Berlin, and discussed my latest Bağlama of which pictures are in the gallery below. Further down on this page are also some pictures from the building process.
